The newest member of the CE Pro team is Nick Boever.
Nick Boever comes to CE Pro from its sister publication DesignWell where Boever has covered the emerging wellness market for the past 18 months. During his time with DesignWell, Boever covered environmental-friendly wellness and environmental products and solutions.
“After having been able to work with the team over at CE Pro during my time at DesignWell, it comes with a great level of excitement to be able to work more closely with them,” states Boever.
“The opportunity to connect and explore the custom integration channel while meeting many of the innovators and forward thinkers alongside a group of passionate coworkers is something I very much look forward to as I transition into this new position.”
As the latest member of the CE Pro staff Boever is the publication’s new web editor. Prior to joining Emerald X (the owners of The CEDIA Expo, CE Pro and DesignWell), Boever served as a web staff member for Kripalu, a yoga retreat in Western Massachusetts.
Outside of work, Boever’s hobbies include woodworking, hiking and writing. Boever emphasizes that his writing interests outside of CE Pro focus on poetry and novels.
Boever’s writing interests date back to his college days in which he changed majors from chemical engineering to English. Eventually Boever would go on to earn an MFA in creative writing from the New Hampshire Institute of Art. Joining the CE Pro staff will align with another of Boever’s interests: technology. The new CE Pro web editor says he is specifically interested in how technology can be leveraged in universal design and how it can be used to incorporate nature into buildings.
