The ProAudio Series of audio matrix products have been known as a versatile line for years. Updating the product line, Zektor has announced its new version of its ProAudio DSP Audio Matrix Switchers.
The switchers can be used for commercial and residential applications, and based on dealer feedback, the company has added several new features to increase functionality.
“The ProAudio DSP preamp and audio matrix remains the top recommend choice for distributed audio environments across all automation partners. We're in communications with our dealers every day. We listen to their input,” says Jeff Haynes, CEO, Zektor.
“The consensus of those requested features end up as new features in all of our products from our continual improvement process.”
New Features Make ProAudio DSP Easily Customizable
Zonn Moore, CTO, Zektor, says the newly added options augment the product line's existing features to improve flexibility.
“Our new features include loudness control, lock multiple zone groups, subwoofer control featuring low-pass and high-pass filters adjustable from 50Hz to 300Hz. Additionally, new selectable 12dB/24dB per octave slopes with Butterworth or Linkwitz-Riley filters and selectable polarity for each channel. Last, but not least is the new ability to drive compatible amplifiers in bridge mode,” notes Moore.
“All of these great new features are in addition to our current world-class features, which include volume in, .5dB steps, bass, treble, EQ, input/output, gain control, lip sync delay, mono mixdown, programmable zone mute, 12-volt amp triggers, front and rear doorbell.”
Moore also says the products are easy to install and work nicely with third-party control systems.
Haynes adds that through the newly added features, integrators will be able to address a greater range of customer needs in both markets.
“We are confident that the ProAudio series will remain as the top recommended product in this category,” comments Haynes.
“All existing ProAudio products in the field can perform a simple update at no charge to take advantage of all these new features. The complete feature set is now beginning to rival some sound processors for far less money. There will be some new additions and capabilities to the ProAudio family which will be really exiting an beneficial for our dealers before the end of summer.”
