Stealth Acoustics' tagline for CEDIA 2016 is “The Best Totally Invisible Sound – Period.” But, the company's Image line of speakers are so cool that they need to be seen, not just heard.
At the show, Stealth (booth #6018) will showcase its on-wall, customizable, flat-front Imageart-speakers, and CoverArt, a cost-effective, motorized artistic screen covering solution. Stealth’s redesigned Imageon-wall speaker is based on the LR8 invisible speaker platform and is now supplemented with a new dual 8-inch Image on-wall sub (available Q4 2016).
When Image and CoverArt are combined together you get Stealth’s Trilogy, a tri-part art display that spans speakers and screen to have custom art and 5.1 (or greater) sound in an on-wall speaker system.
The company uses a patented blend of traditional cone woofers and direct coupled motors to offer extended bass response, high power handling, sustained output, and quality of sound. Stealth uses traditional speaker components for its invisible speaker line.
Also in the booth, the company will show its totally invisible in-wall/ceiling speakers and subwoofers, including its entry-level $799 a pair retail LR6, 6-inch 2-way. The line includes five full-range models, topping out at the LR4, a five-element-, two-panel speaker that a CE Pro reviewer touted as a replacement for well-heeled free-standing speakers. The LR4 retails for $2,399 a pair.
The company's StingRay Outdoor Speakers are IP-68 rated. That meaningful IEC metric defines an environmental durability. According to the company, no other manufacturer has claimed that rating in an outdoor speaker. The speakers also feature a hemispherical radiation (great for even coverage); extended bass response; small format (StingRay 6); customized finishing (paint, wrap with graphics, etc.); or, for just adding more outdoor bass into any system (StingRay 430 above-ground sub).
Also, Stealth’s SA255 350w monaural subwoofer amplifier and the SA2400 450w per-channel, 2-channel Class A/B amplifier with built-in DSP will be on display, along with its Patio Theater large-format outdoor entertainment system. The system is daylight viewable with high-resolution P3 LED screens in sizes from 103 to 155 inches, motorized lifts and Stealth LR3 speakers and B30 subwoofers built-in to a customizable weatherized enclosure.
Finally, Stealth’s parent company, Dimensional Communications, Inc. (DCI) has for a number of years garnered experience in providing custom LED screens for residential, commercial and institutional customers. Stealth is now offering its dealers a modular approach to building indoor P5 and P3 LED screens using Image Cells from DCI’s Dimensional Display Systems LED division. Image Cells are designed, engineered and assembled in Stealth’s U.S. factory and carry direct US NRTL safety certifications from MET Labs.
Also from Stealth’s parent company, and now available to Stealth dealers, is a unique software and LED screen solution for sports score and time keeping called Video Scoreboard. While primarily for sports venues, schools or public facilities, Video Scoreboard has a place in the luxury home market in golf simulators, in-home bowling alleys and custom home theaters.
All Stealth speakers are made in the USA.
