Launching its latest outdoor televisions just in time for the warm-weather months, the new Séura Shade Series of products provide the picture quality homeowners expect, along with the ability to withstand a range of environmental elements.
Séura points out that traditionally televisions have only lived indoors. When outdoor televisions are placed in outdoor environments, bright sunlight has normally made it difficult for these products to produce detailed images.
Outdoor environments also make it difficult to reproduce sound because TV sound is competing against a variety of noises.
Fulfilling the need for outdoor A/V products that deliver a fun experience in these types of environment, Séura says it developed the Shade Series of products.
“We created these TVs with work hard, play hard consumers in mind,” says Gretchen Gilbertson, CEO, Séura.
“Their elegant design meets best-in-class video performance in all weather conditions. Séura outdoor TVs enhance beautifully designed outdoor spaces and truly bring people together.”
Séura Shade Series Adjust to Their Surroundings
The Shade Series products are engineered for placement in locations that include decks, patios, near hot tubs and other similar areas.
According to Séura, the placement of the televisions doesn't matter because of its Adaptive Picture Technology, which continuously adjusts multiple picture settings to constantly make sure the products deliver optimized images.

Part of the products' ability to continually adjust their picture is through the brightness capabilities of the TVs, which are much brighter than indoor televisions, and up to 30 percent brighter than comparable outdoor televisions.
The Shade Series also utilize designs that protect critical electrical connections from exposure to outdoor elements.
Séura stresses the Shade Series, like its other outdoor televisions, are completely sealed, and are capable of operating in a range of environments -24 degrees to 104 degrees.
