8 Patriotic Home Theater Demo Movies for 4th of July

This 4th of July, pick an especially patriotic movie for your home theater demo like Patriot’s Day, Independence Day or American Sniper.

Everyone knows the timeless patriotic movies. Will Smith's Independence Day, Black Hawn Down, Pearl Harbor, Born on the Fourth of July. The list goes on. While more recent patriotic films may never replace those we'll always know, love and perhaps watch around the 4th of July, the newer films have one advantage. With the advent of Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro 3D and 4K Ultra HD, those new American films will look and sound ten times better in your home theater demos.

America's favorite holiday is coming up, so your customers might be feeling a little more patriotic than usual. Instead of popping in one of your usual demo films, why not try one of these eight films that are available in new audio technologies, like object-based surround sound, or video technologies like 4K?

Even after the holiday, keep these movies in your showroom to break out around this time year after year.

On that note, how many integrators rotate their demo music and movies according to the time of year? Surely Christmas melodies hit home a little more around the December holidays and scary movies a little more around Halloween.

Of course you'll also want to stay up to date on the new films coming out with the new audio and video technologies, because those will always be a hit in your showroom. Here are the lists of movies with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro 3D, Dolby Vision and 4K Blu-ray

Alright, ready? Check out the slideshow of 8 patriotic movies to demo in your home theater showroom this 4th of July. Start here.
