Partnering with Attero Tech, MSE Audio has created a prepackaged bundle that provides residential and commercial integrators with an IP-based distributed audio solution.
MSE Audio, the parent company of the SoundTube, Soundsphere, dARTS, Phase Technology, Induction Dynamics, SolidDrive and Rockustics brands, teamed with Attero Tech to package SoundTube Entertainment’s IPD-Hub2 and Remote Volume Control Plate, with the Attero Tech Axiom Audio Wall Plates and Axon C1 Zone Control Wall Plate.
“SoundTube Entertainment’s partnership with Attero Tech creates a scalable, Dante-enabled system at a competitive price point,” states Michael Sipe, vice president of U.S. Sales for MSE Audio.
“In designing this system with Attero Tech, our goal was to create a functional, simple-to-use experience targeted towards restaurants, retail and education. We look forward to working with Attero Tech’s network of dealers, as well as our own network of SoundTube Entertainment dealers, to provide them with a cost-effective solution fit to their needs.”
MSE Audio's Partnership With Attero Tech Enables System Simplicity
Through the creation of this prepackaged bundle, MSE Audio points out that integrators now have a turnkey integrated audio solution.
MSE Audio explains that through the use of its new bundle integrators can design and install single- and multizone audio systems quickly and easily.
The IPD-Hub 2 incorporates the Audinate Dante digital audio platform, and the Attero Tech products come with the company's unIFY software to provide state-of-the-art monitoring and equalization (EQ) and DSP (digital signal processing) capabilities.
According to MSE Audio, the turnkey, preconfigured package can be used for commercial applications that include restaurants, retail establishments and schools.
As a residential tool, integrators can use the package for whole-house audio applications.
MSE Audio points out the IPD-Hub2 offers integrators a native Axiom port to enable a simple connection to Attero Tech's Axiom wall plates. This connection facilitates the creation of local inputs to access the Dante network.

The IPD-Hub2 setup and control is supported within Attero Tech's unIFY software to create a single control mechanism for all SoundTube and Attero Tech products that reside on the system.
Elaborating on the IPD-Hub2, MSE Audio says the device serves as the heart of a networked audio system. The product includes local and Dante inputs, as well as two channels of DSP amplification, and a choice of power options such as PoE, PoE+, 40-watt PoE and 24-volt options for local power supplies.
The Axiom single-gang wall plate from Attero Tech provides inputs via a proprietary Axiom bus. The Axiom ML1 includes a 3.5mm input summed to mono, along with an XLR input and volume knobs.
In addition, the Attero Tech USB1 is a plug-and-play USB audio I/O product, while the Axon C1 is an IP-based control device for networked AV systems. The Axon C1 utilizes a Decora-style in-wall design with an OLED display and rotary controller.
When the Axon C1 is combined with the Attero Tech unIFY Control Panel software, integrators can navigate through job-specific menu options to configure user interfaces that offer volume/mute control and presets.
