The Monitor Audio IA-150-2 stereo amplifier, IA200-2C stereo amplifier, IA800-2C 8-channel amplifier, and the IA60-12 12-channel amplifier are rated to operate at 93 percent energy-efficieny. Known for its value-minded and high-performing loudspeakers, Monitor Audio is now offering its Installation Amplifiers.
Available through American distributor Kevro, Monitor Audio has expanded its product line to include amplifiers, and its latest products address whole-house audio and commercial applications.
According to the British audio manufacturer, its new amplifiers are designed “to do more and use less space.”
Monitor Audio says the amplifiers incorporate the latest technologies to produce the best possible sound, and the products deliver up to 2,000 watts of power.

Internally, the IA150-2, IA60-12, IA200-2C, and IA800-8C amplifiers utilize Hypex amplification technologies that help the amps perform at high levels while running at 93 percent energy efficiency.
In the field, the 1U- and 2U-high amplifiers are configurable to 1, 2, 3, 6, 8 or 12 channel solutions.
In the case of the “C” models, the letter denotes the amplifier's optional IP connection capabilities, which enable integrators to access the products through a web browser connected on the same network.
In addition, the amps incorporate status and signal LEDs that communicate the amps' operational status, including if the amplifier is clipping. Power options include trigger inputs and audio signal sensing.
