D-Tools has announced the launch of its Professional Services Group, which is aimed at facilitating customer success and driving deeper adoption of the D-Tools System Integrator (SI) platform through the delivery of value-added implementation, training and third-party software integration services.
D-Tools Professional Services will initially support two primary market segments—residential and commercial A/V—and will extend its reach to other industries over time. The Professional Services Group employs team members on both the East and West coast, making them accessible for either online or on-site services in any time zone in North America.

D-Tools says PSG is comprised of an experienced team of professionals whose mission is to help those using the D-Tools System Integrator software platform become more efficient with its products. D-Tools offers a range of services that may be purchased a la carte or through packages that bundle select services and training. Standard packages include a Self-starter, Performance, and Pro option, but services can also be bundled together and customized to meet a customer’s specific needs.
Here is a closer look at the bundles:
Self-Starter Package: The Self-Starter Package is for customers who may have limited needs or budgetary and/or time constraints. The goal of this package is to ensure that a new customer receives the basic support required to be successful with D-Tools. The Self-Starter covers software setup and configuration, familiarization with D-Tools support and training resources, as well as live online training geared toward getting started with catalogs and creating projects. A one-year subscription to the D-Tools eLearning platform is included.
Performance Package: The Performance Package provides implementation support and training that will yield tangible results in a short period of time. This baseline package covers key areas of software implementation, as well as personalized training. The Performance Package is ideal for customers with multiple users and/or those who plan to take advantage of multiple System Integrator modules. It offers all the features of the Self-Starter Package, plus personal online training and an introduction to the Custom Reports, Catalog Organization, and Data Grooming options.
Pro Package: The Pro Package is an extension of the Performance Package and is designed for customers with more users, more seats, and/or who expect to fully exploit the complete System Integrator feature set. With the Pro Package comes additional online training, additional time allocated for Custom Reports, as well as the Catalog Starter and Management Plan, which includes assistance with catalog development and training in Catalog Management best practices and procedures.
Additional implementation services, including Catalog Starter, Catalog Manager, Custom Report Development, and third-party integration can be purchased separately.
