At CES 2016, Metra Home Theater Group (LVCC Central Hall, booth 8232) announces the CS-HDM5X1SW HDMI switcher to support integrators with projects varying in size and using a transmission line that can support the new functions supported under HDMI 2.0 and 4K.
Metra Home Theater Group’s CS-HDM5X1SW supports HMDI with five inputs and one output while allowing integrators to install it on a small job with two to three sources and leaving the option to add more sources in the future if, or when, a customer expands their system. The CS-HDM5X1SW HDMI switcher supports HDCP 2.2 along with 1080p, 3D and 4K up to 10.2 Gbps to conform to the new specifications of HDMI 2.0.
“The new CS-HDM5X1SW switcher will make it simple for integrators with new and upgraded installs with multiple 4K or HDCP 2.2 sources,” says Jessy Crabb, general manager of Metra Home Theater Group. “The CS-HDM5X1SW will debut at CES 2016 booth in Las Vegas and we invite dealers to stop by our booth to check out this and the plethora of other solutions we have to offer them.”
The CS-HDM5X1SW supports 4K, According to the folks at Metra Home Theater Group, switching, distribution and distance will be the keys to getting all the many sources consumers demand in a connected home.
