Ordering and stocking a variety of bulky A/V furniture and theater seating doesn’t come with same ease and conveniences as other gear. First-time CEDIA exhibitor RowOne wants to enlighten dealers on how it can help, as well as introduce them to its offerings at booth #8027 during the 2016 show.
The company, whose origins trace back more than 100 years (it’s officially RowOne by Jasper Cabinet, which actually began in 1904 in Jasper, Ind., as Schaaf & Schnaus) has introduced an imported home theater seating program. The new program, called RowOne Direct, shows stocked imported chairs shipped from Hickory, N.C.
With this program, a dealer can buy directly from inventory and be able to order mixed-container direct pricing by purchasing a minimum of 25 of one style in the same cover.
Small- and mid-size dealers like the flexibility of ordering several styles of chairs in one container, RowOne contends. A container can have product with four different styles sold to four different dealers.
There are no warehouse “in and out” charges, and the freight bill goes directly to the dealer from the freight company and not from RowOne Direct, according to the company.
RowOne Direct’s import program has a huge advantage for smaller dealers, providing them the same shipping costs as the large dealers, without committing to a full container, the company says. This is achieved by eliminating handling charges, thereby avoiding higher costs.
Another RowOne introduction is its 100 percent leather offering in the domestic line of home theater chairs.
Originally, RowOne only offered fabric, bonded and leather match. Dealers are reacting very positively as there is a need for a more popular priced all-leather option, according to the company.
The line now consists of 16 colors.
RowOne offers straight or curved rows of chairs, different lighting options, and a selection of fabric, bonded leather or full leather covers. Loveseat and sofa options are available in all styles.
The company notes that this seating is made in the USA.
