Those wishing to attend CEDIA 2017 in San Diego can now get their tickets for this year’s show, as registration has officially opened. This will be the first CEDIA show under new ownership, with the association having sold the rights to the show earlier this year.
CEDIA 2017 will take place at the San Diego Convention Center between Sept. 5 and 9. The show floor is open from Sept. 7 to 9.
Despite selling the show and recently losing its CEO Vin Bruno, CEDIA is more bullish than ever. The association has planned its largest offering of CEDIA training ever, with 150 sessions available, 76 of which are new.

After the success of Tuesday Training last year, CEDIA has once again included a full line-up of workshops and sessions on Tuesday including: the COI Train the Trainer course, Rack Building and Wiring Fundamentals, Home Cinema for Designers workshop, and more. There will also be Manufacturer Product Training.
Aside from training, CEDIA 2017 will also provide ways for attendees to connect and network with industry thought-leaders and peers with offerings, including the Opening Keynote with Dave Evans, the CEDIA Awards Celebration hosted on the USS Midway, CEDIA Talks, and the free Open Sessions, with expert panelists weighing in on a variety of topics like “The Great Dongle Debate.”
More than 500 exhibiting companies will be on the show floor, so anyone wishing to attend should register as soon as possible to ensure they don’t miss out on the early bird savings.
Discounts are currently available for 25 percent off on training and registration, which is available through July 14.
CEDIA members will receive free tradeshow floor access and also receive exclusive savings on training, including the CEDIA training pass, allowing them to take an unlimited number of courses.
CEDIA member housing is currently open; non-member housing will open on June 20, 2017. Individuals who need assistance making travel arrangements should visit the travel section of the CEDIA 2017 website for information on hotels, transportation and travel discounts.
