Echo Systems, based out of Omaha, Neb., the No. 30 company in the 2019 CE Pro 100, has acquired Kansas City-based Integrated Electronics as of June 1, 2019. Terms were not disclosed.
Echo Systems is a reputed A/V integrator, having roots in the Midwest that date back 60 years. Echo was recently offered a place in the highly regarded Guild Integrators Alliance.
Integrated Electronics, which has been serving the greater Kansas City area for 36 years, is also one of the area’s top integrators, with a well-respected technical staff and loyal customer base. Integrated Electronics was started in 1983 as a one-man operation by founder Keith Axe. Today, the company has 15 employees.
The company's services include home automation, home theater, distributed audio/video, lighting control, automated window treatments, computer services, phone systems, board room applications, digital signage, and more.

With this acquisition, existing and potential new Kansas City clientele get to work with the same team they had come to know and trust at Integrated Electronics, but backed by a company with greater resources, products, and services than Integrated Electronics has had previously.
Echo Systems, run by founder and president John Palser, reported $7.25 million in revenue in 2018 on 58 residential installations. The company has 29 full-time employees, and is anticipating 5% growth in 2019.
Four years ago, Echo Systems opened a 12,000-square-foot Experience Center showroom where it conducts fully scripted demos. Since the opening of the showroom, the company's average project sold has doubled.
Echo Systems is similarly committed to giving each of its clients the highest-class experience in the industry.
