Capitol has big plans for CEDIA 2016.
A consumer electronics distribution source for residential systems and light commercial contractors as well as premium incentive resellers, Capitol is taking its caravan of Connected Home products to the CEDIA Expo, September 15 – 17, in booth #5732 in the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Dallas, TX.
“The IoT is having a tremendous effect on the custom market,” comments Curt Hayes, president and CFO, Capitol. “We’re at a point where nearly every home control, entertainment, security, and major appliances all communicate over a robust home network. Our job is to give Capitol’s customers the most lucrative product options and expert education, and nowhere is that more important than at the CEDIA Expo.”
Besides IoT, video will be one of the most prevalent categories in the company's booth with TCL and Sharp both featuring their latest 4K consumer models, while LG Commercial will be represented by products that are tailored to indoor and outdoor presentations, hotel lobbies, restaurants, and more.
The distributor's audio focus will be highlighted by Denon HEOS, which Capitol makes available to its customers throughout the U.S.
Explaining what HEOS brings to market, Capitol says Denon's wireless whole-house audio line can be used in a single room and are connected throughout a home via Bluetooth or an existing Wi-Fi network through the HEOS app, which is available for the iOS, Android and Fire operating systems.
Knowing that today's home requires a robust home network, Capitol will also showcasing the Luxul brand of commercial-grade networking products. One final point of emphasis for the company will be control, and URC's Total Control line of remote controls.
