AVAD LLC announces the grand openings of 11 new branches, expanding the distributor's reach to 20 locations in 13 states as well as Canada.
The grand opening events, spread across 10 markets, will showcase AVAD’s newest facilities and offer dealers the opportunity to meet with vendor partners. The events also will feature a free BBQ lunch, door prizes, great buy-in specials and participation from several of AVAD’s key vendors. Among the attendees: Gefen, Niles, Panamax, Sunfire, Aprilaire, MartinLogan, Lutron, Harman, Polk Audio, Middle Atlantic, JVC, Chief/Sanus, April Aire and Bose.
The company also announces its move to new headquarters in Scottsdale, Ariz.. Under the new ownership of Kingswood Capital Management and the leadership of Tom Jacoby, AVAD’s CEO, and Fred Farrar, president of AVAD, the company is positioning itself for a strong year and is thrilled to introduce many new locations and features to AVAD customers.

The grand openings take place on the following dates at their respective locations:
- Wed., May 31, in Englewood, Colo.
- Wed., May 31, in Carrollton, Texas
- Thurs., June 1, in Spring, Texas
- Thurs., June 1, in San Jose, Calif.
- Thurs., June 1, in Nashville, Tenn.
- Fri., June 2, in Eden Prairie, Minn.
- Wed., June 7, in Marietta, Ga.
- Thurs., June 8, in Charlotte, N.C.
- Fri., June 9, in Bellevue, Wash.
- Thurs., June 15, in Woburn, Mass.
- Fri., June 16, in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Back in November 2016, AVAD announced a new business model that focused more on centralized distribution hubs and less on individual branches. At that time, the distributor announced it was closing three branches, expanding others and relabelinig them as “Experience Centers.” Just one month later, AVAD opened seven new locations and two new distribution hubs.
