Ensuring that homeowners get the connectivity necessary to support streaming video, music downloads and intense gaming action is the Ontario, Calif.-based company Amped Wireless. The newest wireless networking solution from the West Coast manufacturer is the ARTEMIS-EX High Power AC1300 Wi-Fi Range Extender with MU-MIMO.
The ARTEMIS-EX is capable of delivering up to 12,000 square feet of wireless network coverage, including 399 Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 867 Mbps on the 5GHz band.
Explaining how the product delivers its extensive wireless networking activities, the company says the ARTEMIS-EX incorporates a High-Power Quad-Core Internet Processor, as well as two 2.4GHz amps, two 5GHz amps, two high-gain 5dBi antennas, 128MB of DDR3 memory, and Multi-User MIMO technology.
Through its MIMO technology, this Wi-Fi extender enables faster speeds with multiple devices to provide homeowners with reliable, high-speed network connectivity.
The extender also features five gigabit wired ports to bridge devices like printers, PCs and gaming consoles, and a USB 3.0 port for file sharing within the network. The ARTEMIS-EX is designed for fast installation via computer or smart device, and Amped Wireless also includes an LED signal strength meter to help installers determine placement location.
