The days are getting brighter and that’s not just because summer is here. SAVI, a designer and manufacturer of commercial AV control and automation systems has announced at this week’s InfoComm that it is now adding QoraLux Lighting to its product offering.
This will bring both high and low-voltage lighting solutions from QoraLux into the SAVI system, allowing integrators to incorporate ever-popular environmental lighting as a part of their projects, according to SAVI.
The inclusion of low-voltage lighting as an option also eliminates the need for outside electricians, SAVI notes, meaning integrators can work independently on installations where additional assistance or partners may not be feasible/available.
“Lighting is a huge component of a commercial project, from a design as well as a business perspective,” said John Dorsey, SAVI CEO. “We’re delighted to add this strategic product line to our portfolio of solutions and doing so in the typical SAVI way – by eliminating cost and complexity from the installation.
“When integrated with SAVI’s robust audio and video offering and programmed with SAVI 3 to create the perfect aesthetic with elegant dimming, color and hue control, QoraLux can dramatically transform any environment easily and efficiently, impressing the most demanding customer and driving new business upside for the dealer.”

QuoraLux Low Voltage Specs
Featuring a full spectrum of customizable colors or variable whites, QoraLux’s low voltage series come with the QORALUX.One controller, which sports a 1U design form factor and can control up to 1024 lighting zones across a project.
Low-voltage drivers come in 1, 3, 4 or 24 outputs that, according to QoraLux are individually configurable and addressable, making them scalable enough to move from powering light resimercial projects to heavy commercial. Additionally, QoraLux’s portfolio has an array of driverless lighting fixtures to select from including pendants, sconces, strips, recessed and more.
These fixtures can also be paired with occupancy sensors, photocells, timers and astronomical clocks to deliver additional features through the system such as motion activated lighting or circadian lighting.
Additionally, the QoraLux states the interface being simple enough such that end-users can create their own lighting scenes without the need to call their dealer for additional programming.
QoraLux High Voltage Specs
According to QoraLux, the High Voltage system can control and automate 120V and 277V lighting systems without the need for complicated installation of additional hardware, panels, or devices. Meanwhile, the inclusion on SAVI’s system allows for the easy provisioning of keypads, dimmers, switches and outlets on the network.
The line also offers streamlined programming and installation for new construction and retrofits, which, according to SAVI, cuts the time it takes to set up and install compared to traditional high-voltage solutions.
Additionally, dealers can submit products directly to SAVI’s compatibility database for meticulous testing and optimized dimming profiles to better assess QoraLux’s growing compatibility with other products.
Both QoraLux Low Voltage and High Voltage series also use Power over Ethernet (PoE) for integrations.
Products will be available to order in July.
