Expanding its selection of Decora Digital Controls with Bluetooth technology, Leviton has announced its new Electronic Low Voltage Dimmer, a 0-10V LED/Mark 7 Fluorescent Dimmer and a Quiet Fan Speed Control.
The Melville, N.Y.-based company says its latest products provide homeowners the ability to dim and time their homes' lighting, as well as manage fan speed without a hub, gateway or Internet connection.
“We are pleased to offer these exciting new additions to round out the Decora Digital line of products,” says Randall Rosenbaum, product manager, residential lighting controls, Leviton. “Decora Digital Controls with Bluetooth technology take traditional lighting control to the next level, bringing convenience and security to the home.”
Leviton says that Decora Digital Dimmers with Bluetooth include features such as soft fade on and fade off, as well as the ability to set the maximum light levels. The Decora Digital Electronic Low Voltage Dimmer is compatible with Electronic Low Voltage, dimmable LED, dimmable CFL, and Incandescent of Halogen loads.
The company also points out the Decora Digital 0-10V LED/Mark 7 Fluorescent Dimmer works with LED and Fluorescent ballasts and fixtures using 1-10V power supplies. The product is a dual-voltage 120V/277V and requires no power pack for switching. Leviton goes on to say that a matching remote for both dimmers is also available for three-way/multi-control applications.
Leviton notes the Decora Digital Quiet Fan Speed Control with Bluetooth offers 1.5A of power for quiet speed control. It features a Decora rocker On/Off switch, and a slide bar for low, medium and high speed control. The company emhasizes the Decora Digital Quiet Fan Speed Control reduces buzzing/humming, and it says the product can be used in environments such as libraries, bedrooms, home offices and sunrooms.
The products meet UL, CSA and FCC requirements and are designed to combine contemporary style, easy setup functionality and easy user interface all within a single package.
