Thanks to a six-year relationship with proposal management software provider Jetbuilt, London-based integration firm Tateside says it has been able to sustain its growth and continue to serve some of the largest brands in the world, including WeWork, Discovery Channel, Soho House, Selfridges and Mercedes F1.
Over six years ago, the integration firm began exploring platforms to help create and manage professional proposals, requiring a one-stop solution that allowed the company to scale with its continued growth. In 2017, the firm met with Jetbuilt at ISE, and what has resulted is a long-term relationship that enables Tateside to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies and promote collaboration.
Jack Cornish, Tateside’s technical director, calls the company’s previous quoting solutions “a little corporate and stuffy,” but Jetbuilt was different.
“After the initial set-up, we produced proposals in record time,” Cornish says. “Jetbuilt’s support team held our hand while we familiarized ourselves with building reports. The platform includes a large preset library and integrated pricing, which helped with the onboarding process. Nowadays, we don’t need to talk to Jetbuilt much because the software just works.”
Now, Jetbuilt is a key piece of Tateside’s technology stack, helping project managers, sales team members and owners manage projects via a central database for the last six years. Jetbuilt has been integrated with the firm’s backend tools, helping the company save even more time by allowing team members to share projects with peers and have visibility across projects that others are quoting.

Tateside boasts a wide range of vertical markets, including small businesses, sports stadiums, restaurants and bars, and high-end residential installations. In each of those markets, projects begin with a quote created via Jetbuilt’s platform, helping the team save time and resources.
“The built-in product library allows us to populate rooms with our specified technology in a few clicks, and if a client requests different product options, we can just create several versions of the project without starting from scratch,” Cornish states. “This helps us to stay organized and gives us a high-level view of a project. Once a client is happy with the quote, we can render off pricing reports and send these to the site engineers or export a kit list so the correct materials can be sourced. It’s just a brilliant tick-list for each job, with transparency for us and our clients.”
Armed with a centralized platform with all of that information, Tateside can review projects in case of invoice inquiries and gain visibility into the evolution of product choices over the years. The Jetbuilt platform assigns each project a number, allowing Tateside and other integraton firms to quickly reference a project number and gather the necessary information to communicate and collaborate on a specific project.
Team members can also leave comments on projects made by others and suggest alternative products as they see fit, allowing Tateside to track hundreds of items and receive notifications in case of price changes.
Jetbuilt CEO Paul Dexter says he has fond memories of running into Tateside under a stairwell at ISE 2017.
“It’s been great to see how that chance meeting led to this years-long relationship,” Dexter says. “Collectively, Tateside and Jetbuilt have grown immensely over the last six years. We are proud to be a trusted resource to support their continued growth as we introduce new features and enhancements to simplify their workflows. Perhaps in the future, under another stairway, I can introduce Tateside to more of the expanded power of Jetbuilt.”
In the future of this collaboration, Cornish is positive that the Jetbuilt platform will continue to grow with them.
“We’ve always loved the platform’s simplicity and see it as a key tool in our operation,” Cornish adds. “There’s no limit to what we can do when creating proposals in Jetbuilt, and we can see our professional relationship continuing for a long time to come.”
