In the custom installation market Key Digital is primarily known for its signal transmission devices and video processors. Branching out, the N.Y.-based manufacturer now offers a complete line of residential and commercial video products that includes its new KD-VW4x4Pro.
Key Digital says its video wall processor with matrix switching support, the KD-VW4x4Pro, can be used for commercial installations that include video walls and digital signage.
The product is a one-box solution that offers eight video wall modes, including a choice of horizontal and vertical layouts in addition to 2×2. Some of the horizontal modes include 1×4 rotated, 1×4, 1×3 and two sets of 1×2. Vertical layouts include 4×1, 3×1 and two sets of 2×1 and 2×2.
The company points out the KD-VW4x4Pro supports SD, HD, VESA inputs up to 1080p/1,920 x 1,200 via HDMI and analog video inputs. Key also points out the dealers can install the unit into systems for sports bars and live events.
Key Digital backs the KD-VW4x4Pro with a 10-year warranty. Dealers can see the product this fall at CEDIA 2016 in booth number 2515.
