Vanco Evolves Its Line of 4K Compatible Matrix Switchers

Vanco has announced its new 4×4 and 8×8 Evolution Matrix Switchers, capable of 4K at 60Hz, HDCP 2.2 and integrating with third party control systems.


Batavia, Ill.-based Vanco offers a wide selection of signal management and distribution products. Adding to that selection, the Midwestern company has announced its new Evolution 4×4 Matrix Switcher (EVMX4K04) and Evolution 8×8 Matrix Switcher (EVMX4K08).

The complete Evolution line of products provides dealers a choice of signal management solutions that enable electronics professionals to install multiroom/multisource systems in homes and businesses that require multiple source signals sent to multiple displays. At the heart of the Evolution product line, the new EVMX4K04 and EVMX4K08 matrix switchers incorporate features such as four and eight HDMI inputs each respectively, as well as Power over Cable (PoC), 4K at 60Hz and HDCP 2.2 compatibility. 

Taking a closer look at the EVMX4K04 4×4 matrix switcher, the unit also features four HDBaseT outputs with two mirrored HDMI outputs, four analog audio outputs, and EDID and equalization options. 

The EVMX4K08 8×8 matrix switcher features eight HDBaseT outputs with four mirrored HDMI outputs, eight analog audio outputs, and EDID and equalization provisions. 

Both products also offer control options for IR, RS-232 and TCP/IP to help dealers integrate the Evolution series of A/V matrix products in third-party control systems.
