Savant has established an exclusive partnership with Devialet, an acoustic engineering and technology company, to distribute the Phantom Reactor Custom active loudspeaker to the custom install channel.
According to a press release, the new initiative with Devialet reflects Savant’s commitment to create the finest smart home and entertainment ecosystem through relationships with best-in-class partners. In addition, Devialet says its loudspeaker has been specifically engineered to be sold and installed by integrators.
“We have identified a target demographic—a customer seeking to enjoy a premium active loudspeaker that also makes a bold design statement,” says George Katsiris, VP, product evangelist at Savant.
“Phantom Reactor Custom is a completely unique audio solution ideally suited to the luxury living space where performance and aesthetic are paramount, and integrators will appreciate the outstanding artistic look, feel and unmatched sound quality they can deliver to their clients. The Savant and Devialet teams have a future roadmap defined to create a tight integration experience and exclusive connectivity features for the CI channel.”
The Phantom Reactor Custom includes Devialet’s ADH amplification and SAM technology, which work together to generate impressive output levels (97dB) and sound quality from a compact loudspeaker. The amplifier drives a sophisticated 2-way full range loudspeaker that the company says is designed to deliver detail and balanced sound including rich, authoritative bass response.
Featuring both analog and digital inputs for easy integration, the Phantom Reactor Custom is an ideal match with the Savant smart home ecosystem, enabling users to change source and control volume up/down/mute from within the Savant app or by using voice commands. Integrators can also access system diagnostics. In addition, a tripod-style stand and wall mount bracket are available to facilitate installation.
“We are excited to partner with Savant in order to make the Phantom Reactor Custom available to top integrators across North America,” says Ken McAlpine, CTO at Devialet.
“We are confident that Phantom offers a sound experience unlike any other, creating a valuable opportunity for integrators to deliver the ultimate entertainment solution for discerning clients.” The Devialet Phantom Reactor Custom is available in Matte Black or White, and can be purchased on the Savant store beginning fall, 2020. MSRP is $1450.”
