ProVideoInstruments, a manufacturer of video distribution systems, introduces the VeCOAX MicroMod-3, which it says provides integrators with an ultra-compact solution at a competitive price. The Orlando, Fla.-based company is showing the distribution product at its booth 3140 during CEDIA 2017 at the San Diego Convention Center.
The cutting-edge design of the MicroMod-3 allows any HDMI input — up to full 1080p — to be distributed over the coax network to an unlimited number of TVs. The MicoMod-3 is universal, effortlessly handling closed caption, composite video, analog and digital audio, according to the company.
Installation with the MicroMod-3 (MSRP $895) is simple according to ProVideoInstruments, offering custom integrators plug-and-play standard to fit any application, which eliminates the burden of adding cables or accessories behind each TV.
For viewing flexibility, users can expand the number of channels at any time by simply adding more VeCOAX modulators on the same coax network.
The MicroMod-3 is compatible with any HD video source and HD television, yielding installers the opportunity to address myriad video distribution scenarios.
Also, as is true with all products from ProVideoInstruments, this product is made in the USA, features unlimited tech support and includes a five-year warranty, the company notes.
Earlier this year, ProVideoInstruments launched the VeCOAX MiniMod-2 (MSRP $495), which it is also featuring at CEDIA.
“The MicroMod-3 is the perfect solution for homeowners, integrators and even builders or electricians,” said Frank Iaconis, senior account manager for ProVideoInstruments. “Our goal is always to offer the best, most reliable product at the most competitive price, and that’s what users get with the MicroMod-3. It gives them full HD quality without the need for new cables or adaptors.
“Users simply set the channel names and position numbers, then rescan TVs to find the VeCOAX channels as new HDTV TV channels,” Iaconis says. “It couldn’t be any easier.”
