In a world in which self expression and individualism are increasingly rare qualities, the latest speaker company to enter the custom installation market is bringing some uniqueness back into the industry.
Drawing upon a commercial and residential installation background that spans back to the late 1970s, Richard Millson launched Millson Custom Solution (MCS) speakers just over a year ago to provide a customizable and hidden home theater solution that takes up a minimum amount of space.
The Vancouver, Canada-based audio company's CinemaFrame product is designed to integrate into just about any home space. It features a slim frame of acoustically transparent fabric in a choice of colors that surround a TV to complement a room's interior design. Adding to its user friendliness, the CinemaFrame integrates easily through features such as its intuitive remote control and an all-in-one design that installs inside a homeowner's wall.
MCS explains the CinemaFrame is a solution that offers homeowners everything from basic upgraded sound to a full 7.2 surround system that can be upgraded from one form to another at any time. It is compatible with flat-panel TVs ranging from 46 inches to 70 inches, and if a TV is changed, the CinemaFrame can be adapted to those changes.
The CinemaFrame incorporates the tools a dealer needs to provide turnkey sound, including electronics, loudspeakers and digital signal processing (DSP). It backs the product with a detailed installation guide that reflects the company's install experience.
MCS adds that dealers can connect their clients' favorite source components to the CinemaFrame system, which includes cable and satellite set-top boxes (STBs), Blu-ray disc players, video game consoles and even turntables. The CinemaFrame also includes wireless Apple AirPlay to allow users to stream content from their Apple devices.
