LILIN has announced its new IRS1304 pan/tilt/zoom IP camera, the newest addition to its IP video surveillance portfolio. The IRS1304 can capture 1080p high definition video in near total darkness without the need for external IR illuminators, the company says.
LILIN says its adaptive IR illumination technology automatically increases light intensity when the camera is zoomed in, and decreases it when it is zoomed out. The company adds that since the IR LED system is fully integrated into the camera operations, it will illuminate the p/t/z field of view, whether panning right or left, or zooming in or out.
The LEDS adjust up to a maximum of 150 meters to enable large areas to be monitored with little to no ambient light.
LILIN suggests some the following applications for the IP camera:
- Under trees
- Along walkways at university campuses, colleges and schools
- Shaded areas between buildings
- Dark corners in backyards found on larger residential properties
The preset function allows up to 128 preset positions for scanning multiple areas.
