URC, a global manufacturer of smart automation and control for residential and commercial applications, has launched a two-way IP module for its Total Control systems to support the integration of Russound MCA controllers.
The module, which is available to URC‘s authorized dealer network via its dealer portal, and through Russound’s dealer portal, provides control of Russound’s MCA-66 or MCA-88 controller amplifiers using any URC Total Control touchscreen, handheld remote, or the Total Control smartphone application.
“We’re constantly expanding our portfolio of integration partners for our Total Control system, and Russound is an important addition to our roster, given their long history of distributed audio,” says Lars Granoe, Vice President of product development, URC.
“This gives our installers more choices and maximizes their efficiency on the job.”
Sold only through direct dealers, Total Control 2.0 is URC’s smart automation and control system. The control system features customizable GUIs and third-party integration.
URC adds that Total Control 2.0 can also be used for commercial facilities such as bars and restaurants, conference rooms and executive offices, common areas & amenities spaces in multi-dwelling units, hospitality and classrooms.
