Home security solution manufacturer Reolink is expanding its Argus camera lineup with the Argus 4 Pro, a new security camera designed for home and business surveillance featuring a 4K UDH 180-degree blindspot-free view and color vision day and night.
The new camera displays a single side panoramic view in vivid color thanks to dual 4 millimeter lenses that create ethe 180-degree angle in 4K UHD resolution. The Argus 4’s Dual-Image Stitching Technology solves image distortion challenges, and advanced algorithms minimize distortion and cover every possible unseen area, the company says.
According to Reolink, the company’s ColorX technology enables the camera to catch the light as much as possible. Even in low light conditions, the Argus 4 Pro can shoot full-color images without infrared lights or spotlights. This results in saving 2 watts per out of energy when the camera is in night vision mode.
In addition, the ColorX technology helps add 30% more battery life when compared to other IR 4K UDH cameras when used at night.
The Argus 4 Pro features Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6, which the company says makes it “the first-ever battery-powered home security camera with the most smooth 4K streaming experience.” This enables fast data transfers, downloads and real-time previews.
The camera also features end-to-end encryption, customizable privacy settings and diverse data storage options without having to subscribe.
“The Argus 4 Pro represents the next evolution in smart home security,” says Fabrice Klohoun, Reolink marketing manager. “With its advanced features and robust privacy protections, it offers unmatched surveillance experience and peace of mind to our customers.”
