Swedish digital audio company Dirac has officially entered the soundbar market through a collaboration with Klipsch, resulting in the release of the Klipsch Flexus Core 300 soundbar, which features Dirac’s acclaimed Dirac Live Room Correction technology.
Dirac’s move into the soundbar market is a significant expansion of its product offerings, as the company has previously focused on providing digital room correction solutions for high-end AV receivers, controllers, streamers, and loudspeakers. The inclusion of Dirac Live in the Flexus Core 300 marks a milestone in making advanced room correction technology more accessible to a wider range of consumers.
Fredric Tapper, Vice President of Home & Pro Audio at Dirac, in a statement highlighted the growing complexity of listening spaces, which now extend beyond traditional home theaters to include various rooms such as living rooms, basements, and home offices.
