Continuing its commitment to the commercial AV market, Vanco has announced its new EVSW4K41 4K Evolution Multi-Format Collaboration Switcher.
The company says that its new collaboration switcher allows for seamless switching from multiple wired or wireless presenters to a single display. Vanco explains the EVSW4K41 4K Evolution Multi-Format Collaboration Switcher also supports the connection of everything from computers and smart devices via Miracast and Apple AirPlay to enable easy BYOD (bring your own device) presentations.
Supporting wired connections the switcher features a pair of HDMI inputs and a USB Type-C input for full 4K video transmission, data, and device charging.
Some of the AV formats the EVSW4K41 4K Evolution Multi-Format Collaboration Switcher supports includes HDMI 2.0b, 4K at 60Hz, 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, as well as the HDR 10 and Dolby Vision HDR formats, and HDCP 2.3 content encryption.
Other features the multi-format collaboration switcher incorporates include two USB type-B ports for host connections, and two USB type-A ports for the direct connection of peripherals such as cameras, microphones, or keyboards.
Vanco emphasizes the EVSW4K41 4K Evolution Multi-Format Collaboration Switcher detects active inputs in “auto” mode. According to the company, presenters can easily switch inputs using the product’s front panel buttons or they can switch inputs via RS-232 control.
In addition, the unit provides built-in audio de-embedding to break-out audio to an amplifier or audio distribution system.
