Roland, a highly respected manufacturer in the musical instrument and pro AV markets, has recently announced its VC-100UHD 4K Video Scaler.
The company states the VC-100UHD 4K Video Scaler supports live events, fixed installations and streaming system applications.
Roland emphasizes that its latest video wall processor incorporates its Ultra Scaler processing technologies. Roland says the VC-100UHD 4K Video Scaler enables professional integrators to input and distribute 4K and 1080p video sources to multiple locations simultaneously.
These distribution locations include destinations such as video walls, HD displays and USB 3.0 live streams.
The unit also supports frame rates up to 240Hz for smooth images on content such as eSports and animation. Roland also notes the 4K video scaler was developed to provide quality video conversion for synchronized big-screen IMAG and dot-by-dot scaling for LED video walls.
Roland adds the VC-100UHD 4K Video Scaler offers 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 inputs, as well as 12G-SDI, HDMI and USB 3.0 outputs. Once a source is connected via HDMI or 12G-SDI the scaler is capable of processing and converting that signal to different resolutions to enable its distribution.
Moreover, Roland says the unit can simultaneously deliver 1080p up to 240Hz to gaming monitors, and 50Hz and 60Hz 1080p to LED displays and HD live streams.
Other options the scaler offers include rotate, flip, trip and mirror images on each input.
