Developed to provide professional integrators with an HDMI connectivity solution that unobtrusively blends into interior environments, the MuxLab HDMI /USB over IP PoE Wall Plate Receiver, UHD-4K is now shipping.
The HDMI/USB over IP PoE Wall Plate provides a single HDMI output, two USB 2.0 Type A connectors, a pair of USB 1.1 Type A connectors, a single RJ45 port for Ethernet connectivity, one RS-232 port, a single-direction IR port, and a 3.5mm audio output jack.
MuxLab says the product (model number 500777-TX-WH) supports 4K video, and with its choice of USB connectors, integrators can connect laptops, smart boards and other USB equipment in commercial and residential environments.
The Montreal-based company adds when integrators connect the HDMI/USB over IP PoE Wall Plate Receiver UHD-4K to its ProDigital Network Controller (model 500811) the system can be automated with device recognition for remote access and control.
Integrators can augment the system with its MuxControl App, which is available on the iOS and Android platforms to facilitate system management.
