Ashly Audio, a manufacturer of commercial audio products, has announced its new SP-8.1P Passive Subwoofer.
The Webster, N.Y.-based company says that its latest product can handle up to 150 watts of power, and through its size, the subwoofer can be used in a range of environments. Ashly Audio explains that with the addition of the SP-8.1P Passive Subwoofer to its SP series of products integrators can now provide their clients with quality audio solutions in spaces that normally cannot accommodate large subwoofers.
According to Ashly Audio, the new SP-8.1P Passive Subwoofer offers integrators a sensitivity rating of 95dB and a frequency response of 43Hz to 180Hz -10dB. The subwoofer’s DSP voice presets provide integrators with the ability to tailor the SP-8.1P’s frequency response, as well as settings for delay and crossover points.
Ashly Audio points out that integrators can pair the subwoofer with its IS and AW speakers, along with its AquaControl and Protea-equipped processors. Integrators can also utilize the subwoofer with Ashly Audio’s nXp 400, Pema 4125, 4250, 8125 and 8250 amplifiers.
The company adds the 8-inch subwoofer employs a bass reflex design, and the SP-8.1P is available with a textured black or white paint finish.
