Press Release –
Bathroom television company Aquavision announces the introduction of surface mounted televisions bringing real quality engineering and style to the bathroom and home entertainment system. The pioneers of waterproof TVs have now developed products which can be easily retrofitted into existing wet rooms. There will be no need to make large holes in the wall to install these new designs as they can be mounted directly onto the wall.
The HD LED 19” and FHD LED 26” waterproof models will be ideal for existing bathrooms as there will be no disruption to the existing décor when installing. The new surfaced mount range has been crafted with a stylish curved aluminium extrusion for a water resistant seal ensuring they meet IP65 standard. Together with The LED technology and the special optically clear glass viewers can immediately see a brighter display and improved contrast levels for crystal clear viewing. Available in three finishes: Black, Polar White or MirrorVision – when the television is switched off, the glass takes the form of a mirror that is suitable for shaving, make-up etc. When it is turned on, the mirror gives way to the television screen).
There are plenty of channels to choose from with the built-in Freeview tuner and viewing can be easily planned with the Electronic Programme Guide. The surface mount televisions feature heated screens to prevent misting-up in showers, bathrooms or wet rooms, two HDMI inputs, full Scart input and infrared codes to integrate with most home automation systems. The Aquavision logo acts as a window showing the power status LED light and the IR receiver. As with all Aquavisions, these TVs come with a waterproof remote control and optional speakers and Vesa brackets.
All Aquavisiontelevisions come with a two year in-home warranty as standard and an optional extended five year warranty which includes in-home repairs is also available in the UK.
