Consumer Electronics Distributors (C.E.D.),member of the PowerHouse Alliance and regional distributor of consumer and specialty electronics for the Chicago metropolitan market and broader Midwest, hosted its annual Fall Ball Technology Summit earlier this month. The event has held in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota from October 2 through 8, and was attended by over 200 dealers, vendors, and industry affiliates across the three stops.
C.E.D.’s annual event series was supported by over 35 AV, security, networking, and home automation manufacturers including KLH, LG, Samsung, Lutron, TechLogix, Ring, and Hikvision. Attending dealers were given the opportunity to meet with manufacturer reps to demo the latest products and technology and take part in training sessions from vendors including Samsung, LG, and Ring.
“The Fall Ball event with C.E.D. gets better each year. For industry professionals, it’s a technology and networking event not to be missed,” says Etronics of Illinois, Inc., Erich Ulm. “I’m a long-term client and customer because C.E.D.’s customer service and product offering is second to none.”
Dealers also enjoyed local food and a chance to win numerous prizes. Attendees indulged in home cooked tacos in Elk Grove Village, Double B’s BBQ food truck in New Berlin, and Bacon-Me-Crazy food truck in Bloomington. This year’s lucky grand prize winner went home with a Samsung 8K QLED TV.
“The Fall Ball Technology Summit is our way of thanking the C.E.D. team for another successful year and sharing that gratitude with our loyal customers and vendor partners,” adds Mike Baginski, vice president, C.E.D. “The annual three-day event is also the perfect time for dealers to network and learn about the latest and greatest products as we all buckle down and prepare for the busy Q4 selling season.”
