AMP Security in American Fork, Utah, has a new name and a new home automation equipment package to go with the new brand.
The company, which has more than 8,500 subscriber accounts and generates nearly $500,000 per month in recurring monthly revenue (RMR), will now be known as AMP Smart. It is deploying next generation technology from Qolsys and Alarm.com as part of the comprehensive rebrand.
The AMP Smart solution is led by a 7-inch touchscreen with built-in panel camera and innovative software applications includes a modern, intuitive, swipe-based user interface with support for security, life safety, cameras and smarthome technology.

The AMP Smart panel will include the Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core 400 processor – a highly integrated system-on-a-chip (SoC) that supports LTE cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, on-board router, Android and HD display, and integrates leading smart home services powered by Alarm.com (Nasdaq: ALRM) ensuring reliable and easy to use awareness and control for consumers across a broad range of connected devices through a single, intuitive mobile app.

AMP reported nearly doubling in size in 2015.
