Integrators can track the location of any item in their inventory with Milwaukee Tools' Tick tool and equipment tracker. Designed with the jobsite in mind, the Tick is built to withstand the abuse integrators' tools and equipment take every day.
Primarily known for its power tools, Milwaukee Tools allows users to secure the Tick on a variety of products and connect to the device using Bluetooth or a companion app, available from the Apple app store or Google Play. Through the app, integrators can customize the Tick's performance. Use the app to track, lock and disable devices remotely.
Powered by a coin cell battery that provides over one year of runtime, the Tick will reliably provide tracking beacons anytime, anywhere. Receive low battery, service reminders and missing tool notifications through the app.
Tracked by One Key, the Tick affixes to almost anything via epoxy, rivets, screws or zip ties and has a range of 100 feet. It also logs the last known location of the Tick, and with the app, users can setup notifications that send alerts whenever someone is within 100 feet of a Tick-tagged product.
Milwaukee Tools describes One Key's effect:
One-Key is the first digital platform for jobsite tools. By integrating industry-leading tool electronics with a custom-built cloud based program, One-Key will provide a new level of control and access to information that will revolutionize the way work gets done.
This will fundamentally change the way users interact with their tools, and help solve user problems and frustrations the industry has never before been able to address.
