Total Tech Summit Cancels November Event, Announces Virtual Experience

Total Tech Summit Virtual Experience will be a series of two-day online sessions broken out by East Coast and West Coast attendees.

Total Tech Summit Cancels November Event, Announces Virtual Experience

The Total Tech Summit Virtual event will take place in early December.

One of the last industry events still on the docket for 2020, the Total Tech Summit, has been cancelled due to COVID-19. The 13-year-old event, which includes the CE Pro Summit tract, was planned for November 9-11, 2020 in Cleveland.

“Amid the challenging circumstances arising from COVID-19, it has become clear that hosting Total Tech Summit this November is not possible,” says Emerald, managers of the event, and owners of CE Pro and its sister publications Security Sales & Integration and Commercial Integrator, which are also part of the hosted event. The summit originated as the CE Pro 100 Summit and is for invited guests only to network and meet with vendors.

“The cancellation of the live event is due to developments regarding the ongoing progression of the COVID-19 pandemic, including the latest government data, measures and guidelines on the phased reopening plans in the U.S.; current restrictions on congregating and large gatherings imposed by states and other government and public health authorities; and the various company-imposed travel restrictions on employees affecting attendees and participating companies,” according to Emerald.

The statement continues, “While we are extremely disappointed that we won’t be able to meet in person this year, our commitment to bringing together the integration community for learning, business building, and partnership creation is stronger than ever.

“As part of our commitment to you and the needs of the industry, we are pleased to offer Total Tech Summit Virtual as an online experience to provide you connections and insight,” say show organizers.

2-Day East/West Coast Virtual Events

Total Tech Summit Virtual will be broken into six, two-day experiences and will be on the following dates:

  • SSI Summit East: Dec 1-2, 2020
  • SSI Summit West: Dec 3-4, 2020
  • CE Pro Summit East: Dec 7-8, 2020
  • CE Pro Summit West: Dec 9-10, 2020
  • CI Summit East: Dec 14-15, 2020
  • CI Summit West: Dec 16-17, 2020

Further communications about these upcoming events will be distributed to hosted guests in the coming weeks.

The next in-person Total Tech Summit will take place November 17-19, 2021 at the Orlando County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

“We are so grateful to be part of your very strong, resilient and innovative integration communities. Your safety and health are of the utmost concern to us, and we thank you for your understanding as we all navigate through this challenging time and hope you will join us for Total Tech Summit Virtual,” conclude show organizers.
