Integrated Systems Events managing director Mike Blackman announced this morning that the 2021 Integrated Systems Europe show will be June 1-4 in Barcelona, Spain.
The new dates put ISE 2021 less than two weeks before the kickoff of InfoComm 2021, which is set for June 12-18 in Orlando, Fla.
“The decision to reschedule the exhibition from early February came after a period of consultation with exhibitors, the venue and local authorities,” said Blackman in an ISE statement today. In recent weeks we have been working closely with the venue and local suppliers to ensure that the move can take place as smoothly as possible.
“From our many conversations, it is clear the industry can’t wait to get back together doing business face to face and we are committed to delivering an engaging and safe in-person ISE in 2021. The postponement of the event to early June provides additional time for the industry to adapt and restore balance,” he said.
“We look forward to hosting the AV community in our new home in Barcelona,” said Blackman.

ISE 2021 and InfoComm 2021 Share June
ISE 2021 staff decided to postpone the event from February to June earlier this week as the coronavirus pandemic spiked across Europe in an effort to preserve the in-person component of the event, which will add a virtual element this year through RISE Live.
AVIXA senior VP of expositions and events Rochelle Richardson told CE Pro sister publication Commercial Integrator yesterday InfoComm 2021 will be staying in June and show staffers consider the event a “welcome back” to those in the industry who haven’t been able to attend trade shows for six months or more because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Blackman and Richardson emphasized that ISE and InfoComm typically attract different audiences, with ISE drawing primarily from Europe and Asia and InfoComm bringing in the largest contingent from North and South America.
“There’s still a tremendous opportunity for exhibitors and sponsors to see a unique audience,” says Richardson. “There’s value for exhibitors to participate in both shows and logistically it should be possible.”
