By nearly all metrics, ISE 2025 was a resounding success, with the commercial and residential AV and systems integration tradeshow recording its highest number of exhibitors, the largest show floor space, in addition to netting the largest attendance of the event to date.
Crunching the Numbers on ISE 2025
According to show organizers, the 1,605 exhibitors and 92,000 square feet of show floor space were both record numbers, and ISE 2025 also set record numbers in attendance. The show saw 85,351 unique verified visitors from 168 countries, a remarkable 15.5% increase from 2024.
The first day of the show, Tuesday Feb. 4, saw nearly 50,000 attendees, a 16.1% rise compared to the first day of ISE 2024. In a testament to the quality of this year’s event, Thursday was nearly just as busy as Tuesday, with a record 49,716 visitors to the massive Fira de Barcelona Gran Via.
Attendance peaked on Wednesday with just over 59,000 visitors, a 14.4% growth from 2024.
Across the four days that the show floor was open, the Barcelona exhibit hall saw nearly 186,000 visits.

‘Surpassing All Expectations’
ISE 2025 was the fourth year that the show took place in Barcelona after relocating from Amsterdam, but representation from the DACH region that most benefitted from the previous location saw a 7% increase this year. According to ISE, attendance from those countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) is coming close to the numbers seen during the event’s time in Amsterdam.
In a statement, ISE Managing Director Mike Blackman said this year’s edition of the show has surpassed all expectations.
“The energy and engagement from our attendees and exhibitors have been truly remarkable,” Blackman said. “From the dynamic show floor and impactful exhibitor showcases to a content-rich programme, this year’s edition has delivered an unmatched experience. We are excited to build on this success and look forward to welcoming everyone back for another inspiring edition in 2026.”
In More Ways than One
The show’s content program was also a success, with the AVICA, CEDIA and ISE-jointly curated sessions and the two keynote sessions seeing record-breaking attendance. Additionally, the show floor tours saw impressive participation, with 222 attendees joining guided explorations around the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via.
Daryl Friedman, global president and CEO of CEDIA, said ISE is always a highlight for the organization, especially the CEDIA Annual Meeting.
“It was inspiring to meet face-to-face with integrators and manufacturers from around the world, reinforcing the strength and reach of our community,” Friedman says. “And, of course, experiencing the latest advancements in smart home technology firsthand was truly exhilarating – seeing innovation come to life on the show floor reaffirms why CEDIA is at the heart of this rapidly evolving industry.”
