After a four-year COVID time-out, World Wide Stereo is set to bring back its “Music Matters” event.
The 2023 CTA “Integrator of The Year” is set to hold the event in its flagship showroom in Montgomeryville Pa., and the company’s Music Matters Spring Sessions are sharply focused around one thing: Better sound. Made up of a series of sessions that let attendees huddle with industry audio experts and lose themselves in fascinating “TED Talk-like” presentations. Talk to like-minded music lovers and learn from the best in the business. Take part in our “speaker shootout,” and experience demonstrations on a variety of topics from acoustic room treatments and streaming services to the magic of music in cinema. Discover what experts mean by “hi-res” and “spatial audio” with a lively variety of audio demonstrations and A/B tests.
Presenters include World Wide Stereo system design experts and industry leaders from highly respected audio brands like Focal, Integra, Vicoustics, Klipsch and more. Without question: attendees will leave Music Matters with a far better understanding of how to create a much better listening experience in their own homes.
World Wide Stereo is proud to be selected as the exclusive launch partner of Integra’s new flagship AV receiver: the DRX-8.4. This powerhouse, next-gen AVR offers unprecedented flexibility with a deep feature set for amplification, audio support, connectivity, and system control of the whole home. The DRX-8.4 will be unveiled and demo’d for the first time to the public in our Music in Cinema session.
“Music Matters is our way of celebrating our shared love of music, while applauding stellar sound and thanking all of you for helping us make 44 years of award-winning audio even possible,” says World Wide Stereo’s CEO and Founder and Consumer Technology Hall-of-Fame Inductee.
“Music in an elevator is just innocuous background music – better than nothing, but not at all what we do. When music is brought to life and reproduced as the artist intended, as if they were physically there in the room with you, performing… there’s nothing better. It’s an emotional connection, it gives you goosebumps, it stirs up memories, and it can completely transform your mood and energy. This is my favorite event, and what Music Matters is all about.”
Registration is required for The Music Matters sessions. This event is totally FREE, but space for the sessions is limited. Attendees can choose to register for a morning session track that kicks off at 10am or an afternoon session track that repeats the same sessions and begins at 2pm.
