MOON will be showcasing a reference system at this year’s AXPONA 2024 home audio show.
The new MOON 861 power amplifier and MOON 891 network player/preamplifier will make their U.S. show debut and will combine with MOON’s 810LP phono amp, 820S power supply, and a Clearaudio Concept Signature turntable to deliver a detailed performance. A pair of Wilson Audio Sasha V speakers will fill the room with lifelike musical reproductions of both digital and vinyl recordings.
MOON’s North Collection was announced last year, and the 861 and 891 are the latest products in the series to come off the company’s production line in Quebec. They have been designed and built to complement each other and represent the performance pinnacle of the new collection. The product line offers luxury audio consumers an uncompromised build quality, and natural sound reproduction to deliver many years of listening pleasure.
At the AXPONA 2024 show, Simaudio will demonstrate how the 861 and 891 are not just a joy to listen to, they offer a high level of user friendliness. According to the company, there is never any delay in music delivery as digital tracks can be quickly and simply located using MOON’s intuitive software. Digital music fanatics and newcomers alike will appreciate the ease with which they can operate the system using what is probably the best remote control in the industry: The new MOON BRM-1.
The new products also offer a full suite of connectivity options that music lovers will enjoy, and for day-to-day family use—there are also HDMI and Bluetooth connections available. At the upcoming AXPONA 2024 show in Schaumburg, Ill., Simaudio will also showcase to home cinema fans how the 861 and 891 can be integrated into AV systems, to produce audio soundtracks in a way that will make movies more memorable.
MOON is partnering with Quintessence Audio, a Midwest-based retailer, and its products will be featured in Quintessence’s rooms located at the entrance to the show. MOON products will also be playing elsewhere at AXPONA as Dynaudio will be demonstrating a system based on the MOON 791 network player/preamplifier combined with an Octave tube amplifier.
