Many dealers may think a site survey is unnecessary for a client job – they may feel they are already familiar with the property, or that they have done so many jobs that they know what to look for in spec’ing a job.
We’ve asked Jennifer Koops, one of our Concierge Team members, and Will Walker, our Eastern Regional Sales Manager, to share with us their top reasons why you should consider using a DISH Site Survey for your next job:
Jennifer:
“The first reason is to avoid any complications down the road. We can head off any problems and provide a resolution before they become an issue for the site.
It gives the dealer a chance to hear what our technicians think would be a good set up, and to listen to their ideas in addition to any questions the dealer may have. They can walk the dealer through the best set-up of equipment for the job.
CE Pro Newsletters
CE Pro’s Email Newsletters deliver timely news, industry-leading content, product information, and downloadable resources directly to your email inbox. Sign Up Today! It also gives DISH an opportunity to set up a wiring diagram for the dealer so he is better positioned to succeed.
The survey lets DISH address the need for extra or special components to complete the job – for example, a 40 foot ladder to get to a rooftop, or if a tile roof requires a different satellite placement.
Doing a 30 minute walk-through in advance is going to solve a lot of problems ahead of time.”
Will:
“This is your chance to do the job right the first time.
It creates a positive customer experience.
You don’t have to go back out to fix something if you’ve pre-staged the job.
Finally, there is a potential profit for you as a dealer in letting DISH do this site survey while you can charge for it.”
Consider scheduling a site survey today for a project you are working on. There is no obligation to activate service and you will be set up for success when you land the job.
