Stealth Acoustics will focus custom integrator minds on the growing outdoor home entertainment market at CEDIA 2017 with its updated Stealth Patio Theater (SPT) solution in booth 1720 at the San Diego Convention Center.
The SPT, which Stealth Acoustics debuted a couple of years ago, is a fully weather protected motorized outdoor A/V system capable of producing a movie theater experience in the homeowner’s backyard.
The turnkey system brings together a vibrantly bright and colorful daylight viewable high-resolution P3 LED screen with dynamic, full-range, multichannel surround sound — including Dolby Atmos options — using Stealth’s IP-68 rated LR3g loudspeakers and recently updated B30g subwoofers, all powered by the company's new SA2400MKII high-current 450-watts-per-channel amplification with built-in digital signal processing (DSP) technology.
Available in three standard screen sizes of 103, 130 and 155 inches, with surface, partial-conceal, or full-underground mounting options, SPT screens rise silently on demand from a custom finished, highly durable weatherproof enclosure, thanks to a smooth and reliable, automated lifting mechanism, the company explains.
A 1080p system processor provides media playback from up to seven sources, including Blu-ray players, streaming services, gaming consoles and digital A/V files from media and signage players.

“The SPT has been well received as an impressive self-contained outdoor theater system for top-shelf clients and as a unique business opportunity for custom integrators,” says Steve Olszewski, vice president, Stealth Acoustics. “It’s perfect for those who enjoy watching TV, live sports or movies outside in the daytime or at night.
“The SPT incorporates our powerful Stealth sound and has extremely bright 1,800 Nit, deep color gamut picture quality. It’s a very durable system, tough enough to withstand just about anything nature can throw at it,” he adds.
The system can be easily integrated with any third-party control system to enable seamless integration with home automation technology or, for custom channel firms that work in the commercial space as well, with A/V systems in hospitality, retail, education and other digital signage applications.
