Building upon the success of its M1020W 1000 Series projector, the Carson, Calif.-based manufacturer Proxima Displays has introduced its M1030U projector.
The LCD-based WUXGA (1920×1200) projector is the third product in the 1000 series of products, and the company says it is rated to produce up to 5,000 lumens of brightness.
Proxima states the projector is engineered to produce “outstanding images and color reproduction unmatched in this category of products,” and it incorporates a choice of VGA, HDMI, BNC, DVI and RJ-45 inputs.
The M1030U ships with a standard 1.6x lens, and it is supported with a choice of four optional lenses that provide provisions for everything from rear projection to tele-photo capabilities.
In addition, the projector is Crestron RoomView, AMX and Extron tested and certified, and Proxima points out that dealers can employ the product in systems ranging from education and houses of worship, to rental and staging environments.
