KanexPro, an industry-leading provider of connectivity solutions to the IT and AV markets, announces 4K/60Hz extenders, featuring a transmitter and receiver, fully equipped with support for HDR, 4:4:4 Chroma and flexible PoH (Power over HDBaseT).
The innovative and realiable line of extenders will debut in booth #2608 at CEDIA 2017, Sept. 6–9, in San Diego.
KanexPro’s UltraSlim 4K/60 HDMI 2.0 Extender over HDBaseT (EXT-70SL18G and EXT-100SL18G) is a transmitter and receiver set designed for residential and commercial distribution of 4K UltraHD signals.
Enabling integrators to extend uncompressed 4K Ultra HD signals up to 230 feet (70 meters) or obtain full HD 1080p/60 up to 330 feet (100m) over single CAT5e/6 cable using HDBaseT technology, the UltraSlim Extender is compliant with HDCP 2.2.
Supporting PoH, which enables power to be received from either side of the sender or receiver, the UltraSlim Extenders require one power supply and enables IR and RS-232 pass-through to control 4K displays.
“The UltraSlim HDMI 2.0 Extenders is our flagship line of products for everyday applications that require constant and reliable distribution of HDMI high resolution video and audio devices to remote displays,” says Kashyap Khetia, Senior Product Marketing Manager for KanexPro. “Ideally, our UltraSlim HDMI 2.0 Extenders are deisgned for use as digital signage signal extenders at restaurants, house of worship centers, schools or data centers or simply for connected homes.”
