Bolstering its selection of projectors, Epson has introduced its $4,999 Pro Cinema 4K PRO-UHD LS12000 Laser Projector.
The 4K projector from the popular global manufacturer incorporates the company’s Laser Array Light Source technologies to help it produce up to 2,700 lumens of color and white brightness levels. The HDMI 2.1 Pro Cinema 4K PRO-UHD LS12000 projector also supports formats such as HDR10+.

Pro Cinema 4K PRO-UHD LS12000 Projector Utilizes Epson ZX Picture Processor
Aiding the image quality produced by the new projector, the 4K PRO-UHD LS12000 employs the Epson ZX Picture Processor and Precision Shift Glass Plate Technology.
These technologies, according to the company enable the projector to produce sharp images through the Epson ZX processor’s 36-bit processing, which handles real-time color, contrast, frame interpolation, resolution, and HDR capabilities. The Precision Shift Glass Plate Technology is said to refract pixel-light to display a 3840 x2160 image that includes 8.3 million pixels.
At the heart of the Pro Cinema 4K PRO-UHD LS12000 laser projector the company points out is its three-chip 3LCD technologies.
Epson also notes the 4K PRO-UHD LS12000 laser projector facilitates involving gaming activities through its 120Hz refresh rate capabilities and less-than 20ms input lag.
Additionally, for integrators, the new Epson projector offers Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) tools and anamorphic lens options to support widescreen, cinemascope installations.
