There's no question that people love their smart phones and tablets. Leveraging the ever-growing popularity of iPhones, iPads and Android products is the Blackstock, Ontario-based company Distinct Distributors. Through the company's Ft. Lauderdale, Florida office, which serves the U.S., the company is providing installers with a new line of wireless audio solutions with its new MainStream audio products.
Distinct Distributors says the competitively priced audio products will give dealers the ability to service their clients without having to sacrifice performance and features.
“MainStream's initial trio of products will not only introduce the industry to an alternative to many of the current Wi-Fi streaming systems currently available, but will also break the price and performance barriers into more of a DIY and installer friendly design for both consumer and CI [custom installer] audiences,” says Mark Langley, president, Distinct Distributors.
The new products include the Solo, Omni and Omni+, and the wireless devices offer multiroom/multizone capabilities. Explaining the connectivity of the solutions, like many products the Solo, Omni and Omni+ sit atop a home's existing network to make integration quick and painless. The products are also compatible with everything from Apple computers and PCs, to iOS and Android products.
Langley says the products are marketed to the custom installation market, and dealers can expect Distinct Distributors to add to the line to ensure it meets any installation scenario integrators encounter.
“This is just the start of several new and exciting products already being developed that will be arriving shortly,” says Langley. “These products will surely enhance and compliment the three current product offerings we have with many more being designed within the next six to 12 month period.”
