ISC West: Julie Jacobson’s Must-See Booths
With all of the cool stuff to see at ISC West, it's easy to get sidetracked and miss awesome stuff. Here's a round up of things we thought were interesting.

Andrew Nichols · April 13, 2018

ISC West is wrapping up today, but there is still plenty of time to see the latest security trends in person. With new tech hogging some of the limelight, it's easy to forget about the improvements being made to older tech.

From purpose built end-to-end security systems from Alula, to new Luxul customer assurance programs, there's a ton of variety on the show floor. So, we've rounded up some Tweets from CE Pro's Julie Jacobson to give you bite-sized chunks of important information.

Here are some cant-miss tweets from the ISC West show floor:

Combining both physical and logical security, Kentix GmbH is hoping to simplify the monitoring process for integrators.

Back in March, ipDatatel and Resolution Products rebranded to create Alula with the intention of offering complete solutions to security and home automation.

Luxul is debuting its latest customer assurance program, which could save integrators some significant time by bypassing some of the more laborious, traditional steps.

If you are looking for more opportunities for recurring monthly revenue (RMR), go take a look at what SnapAV has planned for its OvrC platform.

Continuing on the RMR theme, be sure to see how to add video verification to alarm panels over at the CHeKT booth.

Good news everyone! Self-contained touchscreen security is coming back, and companies like Alula and RISCO Group are leading the way. Check out both booths to learn more.

This is one booth you'll have to see for yourself. Viakoo Incorporated is showing its remote network monitoring optimized for both physical and logical security.

Deep learning is a hot topic of conversation right now, and ICRealtime's Ella video search engine seems to be leading the pack, being able to quickly identify objects and text.
