Hisense USA Names David Gold President

ย Hisenseย has announced the appointment of David Gold to president of Hisense USA & Hisense Americas.

Gold replaces Alex Zhu, the former president and CEO of Hisense USA. Zhu was promoted to the new role of president of Hisense International. Additionally, Yunfang Feng was appointed senior vice president of Hisense USA, and will oversee supply chain, customer service & administration. Since the brandโ€™s U.S. launch in 2009, Hisense continues to grow rapidly, proving to be a major force in the consumer electronics and home appliance industries.ย

David Gold joined Hisense in 2011 and Hisense says he played an integral role in its rise to become a top three brand in Mexico. There he oversaw the product and channel strategy, as well as the efforts to develop the brand as a leader in the local CE & HA categories.

In 2018 Gold was promoted to vice president, consumer electronics at Hisense USA.

Hisense adds that in his new role as president Gold will oversee all aspects of sales, marketing and operations across all product categories, as well as set the long-term strategy for the region and the expansion of Hisenseโ€™s Home Appliancesโ€™ product lines.
