As Parasound’s founder, it was gratifying to read, “...the sound quality people equate with the brand,” in the review of this amplifier. We’ve never considered CI products an opportunity to cut corners on performance and reliability. Our Director of Product Development, Bob MacDonald, runs his own successful CI business on the side.  Having his first-hand insight has directly influenced the feature set, reliability and sound quality of our entire ZoneMaster line.

We are a little confused why one of the ‘cons’ is that, “Some dealers may want more features” when CE Pro did not mention a number of the unique features.  For example, the A/B outputs in combination with the 2 Ohm stability allows twice as many speakers to be powered when compared to an ordinary amplifier.  Multiple trigger configurations allow any zone to be automatically turned on by audio sensing or 12V trigger independent from each other.  The speaker-level inputs allow any ZoneMaster amp to be added on to any existing stereo system, even those without preamp outputs.  Input buses, looping outputs, mono mode, as well as bridged mode, add to the unheard-of flexibility and convenience.  There are four models in the ZoneMaster line, the model 250 (2 channel), 450 (four channel), 650 (six channel), and the 1250 (twelve channel), which was introduced in 2014.  All have the same core circuitry, features, sound quality and reliability.  We are very pleased this review confirms that our dedication to sound quality and build quality has been recognized.
