For nearly 30 years, PRO-JECT has been known for products that include its extensive line of turntables. Now the brand has extended its listening offerings with a new audiophile created under the PRO-JECT RECORDS label.Â
The first of its kind, the record boasts different recording styles blended in collaboration with Austrian musician and audiophile 7RAY feat. Triple Ace – Jazzy Zoetrope.Â
The company points out the record Pro-Ject’s debut in recording, and the vinyl is available as an audiophile 180g double LP and a diÂrect master tape copy.
This special concept live studio album was recorded at Pro-Ject’s headquarters in Austria, and it was recorded to provide the ability to hear a direct comparison of recording styles.
The production used the top analog recording equipment with reduced and thoughtful miking techniques to capture the essence of what Pro-Ject’s mission and commitment to quality sound.
Pro-Ject boasts the record is a landmark case for its recording capabilities, using real analoÂg tape with reduced microphoning, capturing live in true stereo with no compression or extensive ediÂting.
